Who we are

Marketex ("Marketex", "we", "us") is a digital growth and marketing agency based in Tehran, Iran. This policy applies to the website at marketex.app and to the tools and applications we operate, including any Google OAuth application named "Marketex".

You can reach us about anything in this policy using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

Information we collect

We collect information in three ways.

• Information you give us. When you book a consultation, use the contact form, or complete one of our growth tools, we receive what you enter: your name, company, email address, phone number, website, budget range, and any message or answers you write.
• AI chat messages. If you use the chat assistant or the AI growth consultant, the messages you type are sent to an AI model provider we use in order to generate a reply. Please do not enter passwords, payment details or other sensitive information into the chat.
• Usage information collected automatically. We run our own first-party analytics. For each visit we record the pages viewed, the page that referred you, your language, approximate device and browser type, and timestamps, linked to random identifiers stored in cookies (see "Cookies" below). These identifiers describe a browser, not a named person, until that browser submits a form, at which point we link the two so we can see which marketing channel an enquiry came from.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of our own, and we do not show a cookie consent banner because the cookies below are limited to running and understanding our own site.

• marketex_lang — remembers your language choice (1 year).
• mx_vid — a random visitor identifier used by our analytics (1 year).
• mx_sid and mx_sts — a random session identifier and its last-activity time, which end after 30 minutes of inactivity.
• Google Tag Manager — we load Google Tag Manager after you interact with the page. Tags it loads, such as Google Analytics, may set their own cookies (for example _ga) to measure aggregate site usage.

We respect the "Do Not Track" signal from your browser: when it is on, our analytics do not record your visit. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings, or email us to opt out; the site continues to work without them.

How we use information

• To respond to your enquiries and provide the services you ask about.
• To operate, secure and improve the website and our tools, including preventing spam and abuse.
• To understand which pages and marketing channels lead to enquiries.
• To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Google user data

Marketex uses Google OAuth so that, with the explicit permission of the account owner, we can access data in Google services such as Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Search Console. Access is only ever granted by the owner of the account through Google's consent screen, and applies to our own accounts and to accounts of clients who authorize us.

We use that data only to provide the service the account owner requested: reporting and analysis, and managing or optimizing their campaigns and search presence. We request only the permissions needed for this purpose.

Marketex's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

• We do not sell Google user data.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, including retargeting or interest-based advertising.
• We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
• We do not allow people to read Google user data unless the account owner has given consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
• We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to provide the requested service, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or sale with notice to you.

You can revoke our access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and you can ask us to delete any Google data we hold by emailing us.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, such as hosting and infrastructure, email delivery, analytics, and the AI model provider behind our chat features. They may use it only to provide those services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Retention

We keep enquiry and contact information for as long as it is needed to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship, and analytics records for as long as they are useful for understanding how the site is used. Google user data is kept only while it is needed to provide the service the account owner requested. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to our administration systems is limited to authorized staff. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect the information entrusted to us.

Your choices and rights

• Ask what information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it.
• Opt out of analytics with your browser's Do Not Track setting, or by emailing us.
• Revoke any Google access you have granted at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Ask us to stop contacting you at any time.

Children

Our site and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

International processing

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. By using the site you understand that information may be transferred and processed in those locations.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make a material change we will make that clear on this page.
